This transfer is only one way and the Fitz Roy trekking starts from Hostería El Pilar.

Starting from Hostería El Pilar it is shorter and easier to get to Campamento Poincenot, from there you can start the ascent to Laguna de los Tres to reach the closest point to Fitz Roy. After this climb, or if you do not, from Camp Poincenot you go straight back to town with most of the way down.

The vehicle will pick you up at your hotel in El Chaltén (inside the city) and in 30 minutes you will arrive at Hostería El Pilar.
